Summary: The story begins with Santa and all his elves falling down a ledge in the North Pole the day before Christmas. They become stuck and there is no time to free them as Christmas is fast approaching. Luckily Marmaduke Duck and Bernadette Bear are there to save Christmas, along with a random assortment of land animals that stand in for the reindeer as they find that they can magically fly at midnight. Once they have delivered all the gifts, they return to free Santa and his elves.
